EKansh Trust’s Healing Hearts Initiative Offers Support for Grieving Parents in Pune
Camp, 9th November 2024: Healing Hearts – Outer Circle, an initiative by EKansh Trust, is hosting its first in-person gathering for parents grieving the loss of young adult children. This informal meeting, set to take place at 352, Boulevard Towers, Sadhu Vaswani Chowk, Camp, Pune, aims to offer a safe space for bereaved parents to share, listen, and find support in their healing journey. The meeting will be held on Sunday, 10th November 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
The organizers of Healing Hearts understand that grief affects individuals differently, with mothers and fathers often processing their loss in distinct ways. They also recognize that others impacted by such tragedies may cope in varied manners. Many individuals tend to immerse themselves in daily routines without addressing the pain, which can manifest in unexpected ways. This support group seeks to break that cycle by offering a space for empathy, understanding, and shared experiences.
Participants are invited to attend the session to share their stories, offer support to others, or simply sit in silence. The meeting will also provide an opportunity to discuss ways of commemorating and celebrating the lives of their departed children, while healing together as a community. The group hopes to find not only solace but possibly even a renewed sense of purpose through collective support.
Confidentiality and mutual respect are core principles of the group. The meeting will be facilitated by a qualified therapist or counselor, ensuring that all attendees receive professional guidance during the session. Although not faith-based, Healing Hearts welcomes individuals from all backgrounds.
