Electric Car Booking of the cheapest electric car started in India; costs five lakhs rupees

New Delhi, 23 February 2021: Another name has joined the ever-increasing trend of electric vehicles in the country. Storm Motors has started booking for its smallest and cheapest electric car called the Storm R3. The company introduced the Strom R3 (R3) entry-level electric car in 2018. The interested buyers can pre-book at a token amount of Rs 10,000.

Two-door electric car: The Strom R3 is a three-wheeled car. It has two doors for entry. This electric car is designed for cities like Mumbai, Delhi, and Bangalore. The car’s front design is quite sharp. It has a white roof and a sunroof with a front bumper, LED lights, rear spoiler. This small electric car is 2,907 mm in length, 1,405 mm in width, and 1,572 mm in height, while it has a ground clearance of 185 mm. The total weight of this EV is 550 kg.

Plenty of features despite being affordable: Two seating configurations are available in the Strom R3 electric car with two captain seats or a single bench seat for three people has been given. The company has also included a 12-way adjustable driver’s seat, 4.3-inch digital instrument console, climate control, remote keyless entry, etc. The IoT-Enabled Continuous Monitoring System and 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 4G connectivity, voice control, gesture control, 20GB onboard music storage, and turn-by-turn navigation have also been given.

Charging will be done in just 3 hours: The company has used an electric motor and lithium-ion battery to generate 20bhp power and 90Nm of torque in this car. With which it gets three driving modes Eco, Normal and Sports. This small electric car is capable of delivering a top speed of up to 80kmph. At the same time, it can run up to 200 km on a single charge, which takes 3 hours to charge fully.
