Elysian International Executive Lounge Inaugurated at Pune Airport’s New Terminal, Elevating Global Travel Experience
Pune, 5th June 2025: Pune Airport added a new chapter to its growing international stature today with the inauguration of the Elysian International Executive Lounge at the New Integrated Terminal Building, offering world-class comfort and amenities to outbound international travellers.
The lounge, located within the International Security Hold Area, was officially inaugurated by Murlidhar Mohol, Minister of State for Civil Aviation and Cooperation. The launch marks a significant move by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to enhance the passenger experience and position Pune Airport as a global aviation hub.
Designed for Comfort, Tailored for International Passengers
Blending modern aesthetics with practical luxury, the Elysian Lounge features plush seating, high-speed connectivity, gourmet dining, and curated services. The design offers travellers a calm, functional space to either unwind or catch up on work before long-haul flights.
“The Elysian Lounge is a thoughtful addition that reflects India’s vision of creating future-ready airports,” said Minister Mohol at the inauguration ceremony. “With Pune’s increasing importance as an international business and cultural centre, such facilities are essential.”
A Strategic Boost to Pune’s Aviation Infrastructure
The newly opened Elysian Lounge complements the domestic executive lounge, further enhancing Pune Airport’s capacity to serve more than 10 million passengers annually. The lounge is fully integrated with the New Terminal’s infrastructure, promising a smooth and luxurious travel experience.
Since its operational launch in July 2024, the New Integrated Terminal has transformed passenger services at Pune Airport with features such as:

Eco-conscious designs, earning it the prestigious Four-Star GRIHA rating for green buildings.

Officials say the lounge is more than just a comfort zone — it symbolizes Pune’s leap towards becoming an international travel and commerce destination. Business leaders and frequent flyers welcomed the move, noting the increasing volume of outbound traffic to the Middle East, Europe, and Southeast Asia.
“Travellers from Pune now have access to global standards of hospitality right at home,” said an AAI spokesperson. “The Elysian Lounge is a reflection of our continued efforts to redefine air travel in India.”
