Energy Transition Will Determine Geopolitical Transition In 21st Century: Mukesh Ambani

The Pune International Centre organised the Economic Dialogue 2022 summit with the support of the External Affairs Ministry today. The theme of this year was, ‘The Resilient Growth in the Post Pandemic World.’ The discussion was held on the subject, ‘Green Energy for our Sustainable Future’, and distinguished participants like Mukesh Ambani, CMD, Reliance Industries Ltd. were present and conversed with Dr. R. A. Mashelkar, President, PIC, and the leader of PIC, Dr. Vijay Kelkar in this fireside chat.

 

This fireside chat was started off with warm introductions given by Dr. Mashelkar and was followed by a very engaging and engrossing conversation.

Discussing the subject, Mukesh Ambani stated five key points in which he said, 1.) “The world must make a rapid transition from old energy to new energy, which is necessary for mankind’s larger transition from an industrial revolution to an ecological or earth-friendly revolution.

2.) The Climate Crisis is an existential crisis for Planet Earth, and the entire world must overcome this crisis with the highest level of cooperation and partnership.

3.) India will lead this transition from fossil fuels to Green and Clean Energy and become a major resource of Solar and Hydrogen Energy in the coming decades. It’s an opportunity worth seizing as we march from the 75th anniversary of India’s Independence to its Centenary in 2047.

4.) Our young and super-talented entrepreneurs will make India a Green Energy Superpower in the next 20 years, in the same that India became an IT Superpower in the last 20 years.

5.) Reliance is deeply committed to playing the leading role in creating India’s Green Economy with the large-scale generation of green employment opportunities.”
