EPFO Conducts ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0’ Outreach in Pune to Boost Service Delivery

Pune, 1st July 2025: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has launched an outreach initiative titled “Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0” with the objective of enhancing service delivery and accessibility for its stakeholders. This initiative aims to bring EPFO services closer to its members, thereby improving their overall experience and ensuring ease of living.

As part of the expanded outreach efforts across all districts, EPFO Regional Office Akurdi, Pune-2 conducted a District Outreach Program under the banner of Nidhi Aapke Nikat 2.0 on 27th June 2025 at the premises of M/s Finolex Cables Ltd., Plot No. 399, Village Urse, Taluka Maval, District Pune – 410506. This programme targeted newly covered establishments as well as those already under the purview of the Employees’ Provident Fund & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.

During the event, comprehensive information was disseminated among subscribers, employers, pensioners, and other stakeholders on key topics related to Provident Fund and Pension schemes. These included: Submission of Digital Life Certificate (DLC) through Face Authentication Technology (FAT,Usage of Pension & EDLI Calculators,Scheme Certificate Benefits, Withdrawal Benefits, Prayaas Scheme and its advantages, Procedures to be followed by beneficiaries upon the death of a pensioner, Updation of DLC etc.

Filing procedures for various online claims such as: Form 10D (Monthly Pension),EDLI (Employees’ Deposit Linked Insurance),Form 20 (Death Case),Final Withdrawal,Transfer Claims, etc. During the event 02 PPO handed over to the pensioner under the Prayaas Scheme.

A special session was conducted to demonstrate the availability and use of the Pension & EDLI Calculator, the importance of obtaining Scheme Certificates, and the process of DLC updation using FAT. The resource person also elaborated on the new changes introduced by EPFO for the benefit of its subscribers.

Sanat Kumar, Regional PF Commissioner-I (Akurdi), and Shri Subrata Kumar, Regional PF Commissioner-I (Hinjawadi), extended their gratitude and appealed to all stakeholders to ensure regular compliance under EPFO to avail uninterrupted services.

Manoj Mane, RPFC-II, and Sachin Borate, RPFC-II, also congratulated all participants for attending the session.

The event was well received and saw active participation from all stakeholders. It successfully served its purpose of promoting awareness, ensuring compliance, and facilitating ease of access to EPFO services.
