Excellent combination of flute, tabla and vocal enthralls Pune audience

Pune, 28th November 2023: Hindustani classical flautist Himanshu Nanda, through his Mystic Bamboo Foundation organised the Antardhwani program at the Bal Shikshan Mandir auditorium in Kothrud. An excellent combination of flute, tabla and vocal enthralled the audience.

In the first session of Antardhwani, Himanshu Nanda started the flute playing with Raga-Dhani and then presented the composition in Raga Maru Bihag with fast rhythm. He was accompanied by Pandurang Pawar on Tabla, Kshitij Saxena on Flute and Deepanjali Sagar on Tanpura.

In the second session, Pt. Jayateertha Mevundi of Kirana Gharana started his singing with Yaman Kalyan Raga and then he presented self-composed Raga Bhinna Gandhar. He was accompanied by Pandurang Pawar on Tabla, Milind Kulkarni on Harmonium, Karan Tile and Naidile Hegde on Tanpura. Mevundi ended this melodious program with the bhajan Visava Vitthal Sukhachi Savli. The show was hosted by Madhavi Todkar.
