Exim Bank bags six awards at PRSI National Awards 2018

Mumbai, December 11, 2018: Exim Bank won first prizes for its quarterly newsletter Eximius: Export Advantage in the ‘Newsletters (English)’ category and its social media campaign for Exim Bazaar 2018 in the ‘Best Use of Social Media in Campaign’ category. The Bank won three second prizes for Eximius (House Journal – Hindi), Exim Bazar (Event Management) and Versova Beach Clean-up Drive & Toilet Maintenance (Best PSU Implementing CSR). Exim Bank’s Hindi bi-monthly newsletter Agri-Export Advantage won the third prize in the ‘Newsletters (Hindi)’ category.

As India’s premier export finance institution, promoting and facilitating international trade, Exim Bank disseminates information to the exporter community in various languages through its quarterly newsletter Eximius: Export Advantage and bi-monthly newsletter Agri-Export Advantage. Exim Bank initiated Exim Bazaar in 2017 to provide a platform to rural handicrafts and artisans to promote their products to Indian and overseas buyers.

Exim Bank also commits to relevant social causes. Employees of the Bank regularly participate in clean-up drives at Versova Beach in Mumbai, partnering with environmentalist Afroz Shah. The Bank also donated an amount towards the maintenance of toilets near the Versova beach to stop open defaecation, in line with the Swachh Bharat Mission of the Government of India.

Exim Bank’s efforts in these areas have been recognised by the PRSI National Award jury comprising of senior journalists, former information commissioners, academicians and NGOs. PRSI, the national association of PR practitioners, was established in 1958 and has 30 chapters across the country and over 3000 members.
