New Delhi, December 26, 2020: After the Akali Dal, another party has parted ways with the BJP-led NDA to protest against agricultural laws. The National Democratic Party of Rajasthan (RLP) has announced its separation from the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). Party convenor and MP from Nagaur, Rajasthan, Hanuman Beniwal had earlier resigned from three parliamentary committees supporting the farmers’ movement.

Addressing the farmers rally at Shahjahanpur in Alwar district, Beniwal said, “I am not clinging to the ‘fevicol’ with the NDA. Today, I disassociate myself from the NDA.”

Beniwal on Friday announced his Delhi march in support of farmers in protest against the controversial agricultural laws. RLP chief Hanuman Beniwal has said after separating from NDA that he is not going to ally with Congress. Baniwal said, “I have left NDA in protest of agricultural laws. These laws are anti-farmer. I have left the NDA, but will not tie up with the Congress.”

The agitation of farmers in Delhi has been going on for 31 days against three laws brought by the central government for a comprehensive change in the agriculture sector. Earlier, the Akali Dal, the oldest ally of the NDA, also parted ways with the NDA in support of the agrarian movement. Apart from this, many other smaller parties are also trying to increase pressure on the BJP.

The departure of the RLP may not affect the health of the central government, but the RLP has good influence in some areas in Rajasthan. Apart from this, some other parties may also show pressure on the BJP by showing themselves in support of the farmers.
