Fatal School Bus Overturning Leaves 14 Injured in Narnaul, Haryana
Chandigarh, 11th April 2024: The tragic school bus accident near Unhani village, Narnaul, Haryana, resulted in the loss of seven young lives and injuries to 14 others, with the driver’s high speed being identified as a contributing factor.
The students, who attended GL Public School in Kanina, Mahendragarh, were on their way to school when the bus overturned.
Five children died on the spot, while two passed away during treatment at the hospital. Witnesses reported that the bus, transporting students from nearby villages, failed to navigate a turn from the link road of Unhani village to the main road due to the driver’s excessive speed, leading to the devastating accident.
