FDA Raids Two More Places In Pune Regarding Prohibited Substances, Appeals People To Give Information

Pune, 11th November 2022: The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) raided two places in Pune city and seized the stock of banned substances worth around Rs 4,600. In this case, a case has been filed against two persons at the concerned police station and all have been arrested.

According to the confidential information received by the Pune unit of FDA, this action was taken at two places namely Shivam Paan Shop, Ramtekdi Pune and Amina General Stores, Gaikwad Society Ramtekdi Pune. In the past, there have been operations related to prohibited substances in many places in Pune Division.

Food and Drug Administration Department has appealed to all food traders in Pune Division not to sell prohibited items from their shops such as grocery stores, and paan masala shops, and if citizens have any complaints related to food or drugs, they are requested to contact the toll-free number 1800222365.
