Final Call for PMRDA’s Affordable Housing Scheme: Last Chance to Apply by November 30

Pune, 28th November 2024: The Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) has reported an overwhelming response to its Affordable Housing for All scheme, with 4,861 citizens registering on the official website and 1,717 applicants paying the deposit so far. With just two days remaining to apply, the scheme has seen significant interest from prospective homeowners.
PMRDA plans to conduct a lottery for 1,337 remaining flats across different categories under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and the Affordable Housing Scheme. These include 47 flats for the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category and 614 flats for the Low Income Group (LIG) category at Peth No. 12. Additionally, 347 flats and 329 flats in the LIG category are available under the Affordable Housing Scheme at Peth No. 30-32.

Initially, the application period was set for one month but was extended to November 30 due to delays in document procurement faced by citizens. The extended deadline has allowed many more applicants to participate in the scheme.
Dr. Yogesh Mhase, Metropolitan Commissioner, PMRDA, has urged citizens to complete their applications online via the official website https://housing.pmrda.gov.in before the deadline on Saturday, November 30, 2024.
