First International Cooperation In Education Signed By Symbiosis With India-Uzbekistan Entrepreneurship Development Centre

Pune, 23 June 2021: Symbiosis International (Deemed University) SIU, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India-Uzbekistan Entrepreneurship Development Centre (Under Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Uzbekistan (IUEDC)) for conducting Certificate Programs for working professionals in various domains. 

Dr Vidya Yeravdekar, Pro-Chancellor, Symbiosis International University and Executive Director, Symbiosis Centre for International Education and Dr Sanjeev Chaturvedi, Advisor, India-Uzbekistan Entrepreneurship Development Centre signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

Manish Prabhat, Ambassador of India to Uzbekistan graced the occasion. During his speech, he mentioned that Central Asia has a special focus on India’s foreign policy and education is one of the most important ways to strengthen the cooperation between the two countries. This year is celebrated as the Youth and Health Year in Uzbekistan, the focus is on youth and entrepreneurship development. He also mentioned that this is the first international cooperation in education being signed by IUEDC and SIU.

Dr Chaturvedi, Advisor, India-Uzbekistan Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IUEDC), said this collaboration will bring positive results and many success stories in future.

The first Program in “General Management” will be conducted by Symbiosis Institute of Business Management- SIBM (Pune), Symbiosis Centre for Management and Human Resource Development (SCMHRD) and Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE).
