Five Dead And Three Injured In Major Accident On Pune-Nashik Highway
Pune, 14th February 2023: In a major accident on the Pune-Nashik highway, eight women were hit by an unknown car near their village. Five women died in this collision, and three are undergoing treatment in a hospital. The accident took place on Monday (13th February) around 11 pm. The rural police are searching for the unknown car.
According to the information received, 17 to 18 women had gone to the village on the PMPML bus from Swargate to work at a marriage function. All these women got down near Shiroli Phata. They were crossing the road in the dark after descending the bus. At the same time, a car coming towards Pune hit eight women.
Some women died on the spot in this horrific accident, while some died during treatment. Three injured women are undergoing treatment at the hospital. After the accident, the car driver sped towards Pune. The village police are searching for the driver.
