Five Pune Cantonment Polling Stations Moved to Housing Societies

Pune, 7th November 2024: Pune District Deputy Collector and Assistant Election Returning Officer Siddharth Bhandare has announced that the locations of five polling stations in the Pune Cantonment Constituency have been changed, following the recommendations of the Election Commission of India (ECI). These polling stations have now been relocated to housing societies for the upcoming Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Elections.

As per these changes, voting centre number 226, previously located at Moledina Junior Technical College on Shankar Sheth Road, has been moved to Mira Co-Operative Housing Society, also on Shankar Sheth Road. Voting centre number 227, also located at Moledina Junior Technical College, has been shifted to Anand Park Society on the same road. Voting centres 245 and 246, previously at Nutan Prathamik Vidya Mandir in Wanowrie, have been relocated to Netaji Co-Operative Housing Society in Wanowrie. Additionally, voting centre number 273, previously at Kroot Memorial School in Wanowrie, has been moved to K Raheja Gardens in the same area.

Assistant Election Returning Officer Bhandare has urged voters in the area to take note of these changes and exercise their right to vote on November 20, participating in the celebration of democracy.
