1. Tamil movie Ratsasan (2018) featuring Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul is the story of a cop in pursuit of a schoolgirl-killing serial killer. Featuring a bloodcurdling killer and crisp narrative, it gets a 8.3 on IMDb and streams on Sun NXT.

4. Kavaludaari (2019), a Kannada thriller, is about a traffic cop who stumbles upon a murder case dating back decades after finding human skulls. It’s rated 7.9 on IMDb and available on Prime Video.
5. Mohanlal-starrer Neru (2023) is a legal thriller with psychological complexity and tension, now streaming on JioCinema with a 7.5 rating.
