Football: KMP XI, Legends Football Academy, Dynamite SC, Sunny Days teams advance victoriously
Pune, 12th February 2026: KMP XI, Legends Football Academy, Dynamite SC and Sunny Days teams defeated their respective opponents and advanced victoriously in the second division group match of the ‘PDFA League 2026’ football tournament organized by the Pune District Football Association.
In the second division group match of this tournament being held at the Bharati Vidyapeeth ground in Katraj, Keshav Madhav Pratishthan (KMP) XI defeated Matthew Football Academy 3-2 in a hard-fought match. Mohit Yevlekar scored two goals and Shlok Belwalkar scored one goal for the KMP team. Kaushik Verma and Jatin Naidu scored one goal each for Mathew Football Academy. Legends Football Academy defeated Deccan XI D by two goals, 5-3, in an eight-goal match. K. Suresh Babu and Parth Shinde scored two goals each for Legends Football Academy. Rohit Vibhute scored one goal. Sanket Bandal, Atharva Saharkar and Syed Parvez scored one goal each for Deccan XI Club.
Dynamite SC defeated Bopodi LFA FC 1-0 on the strength of the only goal scored by Pratik Shingte. The match between Legends United Football Club and Eagle FC ended in a 1-1 draw. Rahul Sikdar scored for Legends while Badanbuk Ripnar scored for Eagle FC. Sujit Jadhav and Samraj Nadar scored goals as Sunny Days defeated Utkarsh Krida Manch (UKM) Kothrud FC B 2-1. Suraj Bhat scored for UKM.
