Football: Pune ride on Ipshita, Ishita efforts; Down Latur 13-0 in opener
Pune, 9th December 2024: Pune junior girls were off to a bright start winning by a huge 13-0 margin against Latur in the Western India Football Association Inter District Football Championship Junior Girls at Jalgaon, on Monday.
The win was powered by two three-goal efforts the first by Ipshita Gawari (6th, 20th, 26th) and Ishita Debnath (38th, 32nd, 41st). The other scorers included a brace of goals by Yashika Tejwani (3rd, 12th), Sharvari Mane (18th, 28th) while Ishani Kulkarni (8th) rounded off the tally.
