Former BJP Corporator From Pimpri Booked For Duping Builder Of Rs 15 Crore
Pune, 8th October 2022: A case has been registered by Pune city police against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) office bearer and former corporator in Pimpri for allegedly cheating a builder of Rs 15 crore.
Chandan Nagar police station has registered FIR against ex-corporator Ramakrishna Govindaswamy Pillay alias Rajesh Pillay (52), a resident of Pimpri. In this regard, Sanjay Dayanand Osarmal (39), a resident of Pimpri has filed a complaint.
According to the information given by the police, Ramkumar Agarwal is a director in his company Bramhacorp Ltd. Rajesh Pillay was acting as a trusted representative in the land purchase and sale transaction on behalf of the company. However, he sold land in Charholi to Santosh Sopanrao Landge and Dhananjar Hannammat Landge without giving any prior intimation to Agarwal. By betraying the Brahmacorp company, he embezzled Rs 15 crores and committed financial fraud.
Police sub-inspector Palve is further investigating the case.
