Four Flights Diverted, Many Delayed As Fog Covers Pune

Pune, 3rd December 2021: After two days of rain, fog has engulfed Pune resulting in low visibility. This has resulted in flights being diverted or delayed at the Pune airport.

“There is low visibility at Pune due to fog. As a result flights are delayed or diverted for the next few hours. All passengers travelling from #PuneAirport are requested to check flight timings with their Airlines”, Pune Airport tweeted.

Following flights have been diverted.

1) 6E-699 – 0415 hrs Ahmedabad – Pune , Diverted to Mumbai

2) 6E-2343 – 0430 hrs
Delhi – Pune
Diverted to Mumbai

3) 6E-201 – 0445 hrs
Chennai – Pune
Diverted to Hyderabad

4) AI 851 DEL- PUNE diverted to Mumbai

UPDATE: Visibility has improved and IAF-ATC is now allowing departure flights to take off. Passengers are requested to please check for revised flight timings before they come to the Airport.
