Free NCMC Cards, Government Schemes: Special Beneficiary Camp in Wakad on September 29

Pimpri Chinchwad, 28th September 2026: A special beneficiary camp will be organised at the public relations office of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) corporator Rahul Kalate in Wakad on Tuesday, September 29, as part of the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’. Maharashtra BJP state president Ravindra Chavan will be the chief guest at the programme.

The camp will facilitate the distribution of certificates to beneficiaries who have registered for various government schemes and civic welfare services through the ‘Jankalyan Shibirs’ organised by Kalate’s public relations office over the past three months.

According to the organisers, more than 64 camps have been conducted so far, benefiting over 8,500 people through various government schemes and services. A large number of citizens, particularly senior citizens, have also registered for free NCMC cards through the initiative.

Chavan will distribute certificates to beneficiaries during Tuesday’s programme. A dashboard providing details of the welfare camps organised through Kalate’s office will also be unveiled during the event.

Kalate said the initiative aims to make government schemes and welfare services more accessible to citizens and address their issues through direct assistance and follow-up action.

The organisers said the public welfare camps would be expanded further to reach more citizens and assist them in accessing government schemes and essential services.
