From February 1, PCMC Employees Will Have Biometric Attendance Through Face Reading Machine

Pimpri, January 25, 2021: In Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) due to coronavirus infection municipal officials and employees were exempted from thumb impression attendance. As coronavirus infection is now declining in the city.

Therefore, from February 1, biometric attendance of all officers and employees will be made mandatory through face reading machines instead of thumb impressions. PCMC Commissioner Shravan Hardikar has issued an order in this regard to all the department heads.

The commissioner has directed the department heads to complete the face reading registration of officers and employees by January 30. A report on the completion of the registration should be submitted to the administration department by January 30. If not registered or registered in more than one place, action will be taken against the concerned department heads.

The order said that face reading registration should not be done in any place other than the establishment department without the recommendation of the head of the department.
