From Magarpatta To Kharadi: Harley Davidson Owners Embark On ‘Ride For Nation’ In Pune To Celebrate Independence Day

Pune, 15th August 2023: On the occasion of the 77th Independence Day of India, a spirited convoy of more than 80 Harley Davidson Owners Group (HOG) embarked on a patriotic journey from Magarpatta to the Radisson Blu Kharadi hotel in Pune. This remarkable event was marked by two important initiatives, “Har Ghar Tiranga” (Every Home a Flag) and “Ride for Nation,” symbolizing the spirit of unity and patriotism.

The air was charged with excitement as the roaring engines and gleaming chrome of the Harley Davidson motorcycles captured the attention of onlookers and enthusiasts along the route. The riders, both men and women, adorned in their finest riding gear, displayed an unwavering enthusiasm for the special Independence Day ride.

Upon their arrival at the Radisson Blu Kharadi hotel, the General Manager, Pankaj Saxena, extended a warm welcome to the riders, expressing his delight at the energy and passion exhibited by the participants. The riders were invited to take part in the flag hoisting ceremony held at the hotel’s premises, where the Indian tricolor soared high, evoking a sense of pride and unity among all present.

In a true spirit of camaraderie and celebration, the hotel organized a special Independence Day breakfast for the riders, where they exchanged stories of their journey and experiences. Shetiya, who had achieved the remarkable feat of completing 100,000 kilometers on his motorcycle, became a focal point of admiration and respect, garnering attention and appreciation from fellow riders and attendees alike.
