Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh), July 9, 2020: Vikas Dubey, the main accused in the shootout in Kanpur’s Bikaru, has been arrested from Ujjain today morning. It is being said that he went to visit Mahakal temple from where he was nabbed. The Uttar Pradesh Police team was searching for him for the last six days.

According to police, the security team of Mahakal temple caught him as a suspect. After this, Mahakal police station was informed. However, it is also being said that Dubey reached the Mahakal temple complex and shouted that ‘I was Vikas Dubey’, after which the security personnel caught him and informed the police.

Home Minister of Madhya Pradesh Narottam Mishra has said that gangster Vikas Dubey is in the custody of Madhya Pradesh Police. It is not correct to say anything about how the arrest happened.
