GATE 2024 Registration Deadline Extended: Apply Till October 5th
New Delhi, 2nd Oct 2023: In a recent development, the closing date for registrations for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE 2024) has been extended. As per the latest update, candidates now have the opportunity to apply for the GATE 2024 exam until October 5, 2023, without incurring any late fees. This extension provides candidates with additional time to complete their applications. Previously, the deadline for submitting applications without late fees was set for September 29, 2023, but it has now been further extended.
Furthermore, candidates who require more time and choose to apply with late fees will have the option to do so until October 13, 2023. To avoid late fees, candidates are strongly advised to promptly apply for the GATE exam by visiting the official website.
As per the information released, reserved and female candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs 900. In contrast, applicants who apply with late fees will be charged Rs 1400. For all other categories, the standard fee is Rs 1,800, while those applying with late fees will need to pay Rs 2,300.
The GATE 2024 examination is scheduled to take place in February, with results expected to be announced in March. Online registration for the GATE exam commenced on August 30, 2023, and was initially set to conclude without late fees by tomorrow. However, the recent extension allows candidates to apply until October 5, 2023.
The GATE 2024 exam will be conducted on February 3, 4, 10, and 11 for various subjects. Each day of the examination will feature two sessions, one from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm and the other from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Additionally, the examination will take place in two sessions on the following Saturday, February 10, and Sunday, February 11. The eagerly anticipated results of the exam are scheduled to be unveiled on March 16, 2024.
