Government Hostels In Maharashtra To Be Made Ideal Hostels With Quality Facilities

Pune, 4th March 2022: The Social Justice Department is running 441 hostels in Maharashtra. The department has decided to make all the government hostels ideal hostels. The decision has been made in order to provide quality facilities and a conducive environment for students to study in these hostels.
The Social Welfare Commissioner, Dr Prashant Naranware had called a review meeting of the heads and wardens of all the hostels in the state.
He said, “Hostels have an important place in the development of students. The warden is the master of the hostel and you should check your hostel yourself and solve the problems yourself. For this, the management plan of each hostel should be submitted to the Commissionerate. All government hostels should be built as international standard and ideal hostels.”
