Husband Murdered by Wife and Lover in Pune, Body Dumped in River
Pune, 11th March 2025: In a shocking incident in Pune, a husband was murdered by his wife and her lover, with the body later dumped in a river 55 kilometers away. The police swiftly arrested the accused, Yogita Siddheshwar Bhise and Shivaji Sutar, within hours of the crime. The victim, Siddheshwar Bhise, was a resident of the Hadapsar area.
According to the police, Yogita was having an extramarital affair with Shivaji Sutar. On the night of the incident, Sutar visited Yogita, and when Siddheshwar discovered this, a heated argument ensued among the three. The altercation escalated, leading to Siddheshwar’s murder. The body was stuffed into a bag and taken to the Sarola area on the Pune-Satara Road, where it was thrown into a river around 1:30 AM.
The police identified the body through a tag on the victim’s shirt and arrested the accused within eight hours. The Rajgad Police are conducting further investigations into the case.
