IAS Officer Dr. Suhas Divase Appointed As New Pune District Collector, Deshmukh Transferred

Pune, 7th February 2024: IAS officer Dr. Suhas Divase has been appointed as the new District Collector of Pune, as per an order issued today by the Maharashtra state government.

Dr. Divase will assume the role, succeeding Dr. Rajesh Deshmukh, who, in turn, has been transferred to the position of Commissioner at the Directorate of Sports and Youths Services in Maharashtra. This reshuffling involves a swap in their previous postings.

These changes come as part of administrative adjustments, and the transition is expected to bring fresh perspectives to both roles.
