ICC Awarded Virat Kohli As The Best Player Of The Decade, MS Dhoni Also Received Special Award

Pune, December 29, 2020: The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced Virat Kohli as the best player of the decade at the ICC Awards on Monday. And Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been voted the best ODI player of the decade.

Former Indian captain Dhoni has received the Sports Spirit Award by ICC. Also, the ICC has selected Australia’s Steve Smith as the best Test player of the decade and Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan the best T20 player of the decade. In women’s category, Alice Parry of Australia has received the best female cricketer and also the best T20 and ODI female cricketer of the decade.

The ICC announced the best ODI, T20 and Test team of the decade. Former Indian player Mahendra Singh Dhoni was named captain of both the ODI and T20 teams by the ICC. And also Virat Kohli was successful in making place in all three teams of ICC. Other than this ICC also announced awards for the ODI and T20 team of women’s cricket, in which Mithali Raj and Harmanpreet Kaur made a place.
