ICSE All India Topper From Pune, 3 Other Students Also In Top 110

Pune, 17th July 2022: Hargun Kaur Matharu has topped the ICSE (10th) board exam results. Three other students are also in the top 110 students list across the country.

The results may be accessed from any of the facilitations indicated on the website http://www.cisce.org.

A total of 26,083 students from 245 schools in Maharashtra appeared for the Indian School Certificate Examinations which included 14,122 boys and 11,961 girls. 

Girls have done better than Boys, pass percentage is : 100.00%

Boys have achieved a pass percentage of 99.99% (1 boy was unsuccessfuil)

The ICSE examination has been conducted in 61 written subjects of which 20 are Indian languages and nine are foreign languages and one Classical language.

– 1041 Scheduled Caste candidates took the examination achieving a pass percentage of 100.00%

– 157 Scheduled Tribe candidates took the examination achieving a pass percentage of 100.00%

– 2745 Other Backward Classes candidates took the examination achieving a pass percentage of 100.00%

 Region wise analysis – ICSE

 – Maximum entry is from the Northern region comprising the states of :

Chandigarh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, New Delhi & NCR, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand

– In India, Southern and Western regions have the best pass percentage i.e. 99.99% followed by Northern region having a pass percentage of 99.98%

– In India, the Southern region has the highest percentage of girls i.e. 49.48%, who had appeared in the examination.
