IMD Issues Yellow Alert For Pune For Today And Tomorrow
Pune 15th July 2023: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for the Pune district for today and tomorrow while orange alert has been issued for the district for July 18 and 19. The citizens have been advised not to visit ghat sections during the orange alert period.
According to IMD, the district is likely to witness ‘Heavy rainfall at isolated places in ghat areas’ on July 16 and 17 while ‘Heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places in ghat areas’ is likely to be reported on July 18 and 19.
After a long gap, the rainfall is likely to cover most of the parts of the state as alert has been issued for many districts.
