Important News: Now People Can Make PAN Card In 10 Minutes From Home

New Delhi, 31 March 2021: If your PAN card has not yet been created and you need a PAN card for any purpose, then this news is essential for you.  PAN Card is a crucial document for financial or banking-related work. Hence, the government is constantly taking steps so that people can make their PAN cards quickly. Recently, the government has arranged a facility so that in just 10 minutes, a PAN card could be made from home. PAN number will be issued to you with just one click.

Follow the steps to avail the facility

Step 1: First of all, go to the Income Tax Department website. After this, click on the option of “Instant PAN through Aadhaar,” which appears on the left.

Step 2: After this, you will get two options: “Get New PAN” and “Check Status / Download PAN.” Click on “Get New PAN” from these.

Step 3: After this, enter your Aadhaar number and enter the captcha code. After this, an OTP will come on the mobile number registered with the Aadhaar card. After entering the OTP, enter the email ID and fill in the PAN card’s information.

Step 4: After filling the form, you will get your PAN number in just 10 minutes, which you can download in PDF format. After applying, you will be able to download the PAN card in PDF by clicking on the option of “Check Status / Download PAN” from this website. If you want a hard copy, then you have to pay 50 rupees for it.

Who can apply?

Now those who have an Aadhaar number can apply for e-PAN by visiting the Income Tax Department website. Soon after, the PAN number will be allotted to them. This allocation will be on a real-time basis. For e-PAN, you have to complete the Aadhaar based KYC process. The PAN will be issued to the applicant as soon as the KYC is completed in PDF form.
