Pune, October 13, 2020: Intending to provide free education to one crore children from economically backward families, NxtWave supported by iB Hubs, has recently launched an initiative to provide free 4.0 education for students from Std V-X starting from October 15. It will be completely Online with necessary support system.

What is 4.0 Education?

4.0 Education equips an individual with the skills required to become industry-ready in Technology, Business Management and Entrepreneurship.

Sharing her thoughts about the initiative, Kavya Dommeti, CEO, iB Hubs says, “This is our dream project. We believe in equal opportunities for every child to innovate and create. We are excited about its impact on millions of children and the resulting prosperity in their families. Above all, these children will become role models in their community and inspire more people to learn igniting a spark for a greater transformation.”

During the course of this program, the organisation will take care of the students until they reach an age of 21 years. “Students can become industry-ready at an early age and make the financial situations of their families better,” Akash Girish, vice president (public relations), iB Hubs, told Punekarnews.in.

650 Districts Covered

As many as 8.5 lakh children from Bihar, 9 lakhs from Maharashtra, 4.5 lakhs from Andhra Pradesh, and 3 lakhs from Telangana will receive free education in Phase I of ‘India 4.0 Dr APJ Project’ which starts from October 15. The project will be available in 650 districts across India. A specific number of children from each district will be given free 4.0 education.

These initiatives involve building world-class products in advanced technologies, providing end-to-end assistance to startups to help them rise to a global scale and creating a robust workforce in 4.0 technologies. Till date, more than 30,000 individuals have benefitted from iB Hubs training including corporate professionals, C-suite executives, top bureaucrats, academic personnel, industry experts and thousands of IITians.

This program covers various aspects like Tech 4.0, Business 4.0 and Entrepreneurship 4.0, which are each designed to help children create and innovate. “The entire curriculum will be available online to financially backward children for free. The training is going to be completely online to help the child connect from anywhere and learn. Building 4.0 skills right from an early age will open up immense opportunities for children and youth, be it in the job market or create innovative products”, said Girish, an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur.

Under this project, the economically backward children will have access to online programs like xPM 4.0 (Exponential Performance Mindset) which accelerates personal and professional growth required for the 21st Century, and CCBP 4.0 (Continuous Capacity Building Program) to build industry-ready skills. They will be trained by industry experts and alumni of Stanford, IITs, IIMs, etc.

Who can apply?

Anyone can apply on behalf of a child from a financially backward family, and it is entirely free. We encourage everyone to spread the word about this initiative and let us know the details of such children, informed Kavya.
