Hyderabad, 6th March 2025: Yet another tragic incident has come to light as a 26-year-old student from Telangana was found dead in the U.S., his body riddled with bullets. The exact circumstances of his death remain unclear. This follows a string of similar attacks on Indian students abroad.
In November last year, a student from Khammam was killed, and in January this year, another student from Hyderabad was shot dead. These repeated incidents have once again raised serious concerns about the safety of Indian students studying in America.
Praveen’s cousin confirmed on Wednesday that he was pursuing his MS in Wisconsin. According to U.S. authorities, the exact cause of death will be determined after an autopsy, but his friends revealed that his body was found with multiple gunshot wounds.

Praveen, who studied BTech in Hyderabad, went to the US to do MS in 2023.
