India’s Coronavirus Tally Crosses 4 Million Mark With the Highest Single-Day Spike of 86,432 COVID-19 Cases

New Delhi, 5 Sep,  2020: Coronavirus cases are increasing rapidly in India. The total number of cases in the country has reached to more than 4,023,179 lakhs and more than 69 thousand people have died. According to the latest data released by the Ministry of Health, in the last 24 hours, more than 86 thousand cases of corona have been reported and 1089 people have died. The total recoveries have jumped to 3,107,223 with recovery of 70,072 patients in the last 24 hours.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 4,023,179 across the country. Out of this, 3,107,223 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 69,561 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 846,395 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.

 

Highest cases in Maharashtra

 

Maharashtra has reported the highest number of coronavirus cases in the country.Across Maharashtra, 13,289 people got discharged from hospitals while 19,218 new cases and 378 deaths were reported yesterday. The total number of COVID cases has reached 8,63,062 out of which 6,25,773 people have recovered and 25,964 have died. There are 2,10,978 active cases.
