India’s Next Top Model success party rocks Pune

MUGSHOT LOUNGE ( KOREGAON PARK): Akash Sharma, Executive Producer of ‘India’s Next Top Model’, and Co-founder of Bulldog Entertainment claimed that Indias Next Top Model show has been a resounding success success globally and has provided a platform to the aspirational class of models from different towns and cities of the country.

Sharma was speaking to Punekar News in the backdrop of the top model success party held at Mugshot Lounge in Koregaon Park. He further claimed that it was a moment of pride for India and the girls from different strata of the society came forward and put in their level best for the show. “ The aspirational section of the society has now found its right voice at the global level through this spectacular show ,” he added.

‘America’s Next Top Model’ the intense fashion-based reality show hosted by Tyra Banks is a global phenomenon. The show in its 22nd season in USA, is also seen in over 100 countries and has been adapted as local franchise in 20+ countries.

Akash Sharma, Executive Producer of ‘India’s Next Top Model’, and Co-founder of Bulldog Entertainment, the rights holder and producer for INTM, has brought the franchise to India for the first time ever to be telecast on MTV India globally.

Dr. Madhu Chopra, had hosted a success party at Mugshot Lounge, Pune for the Top Model contestants of the show
and other glitterati on 12th September, 2015. The INTM success party was glamour struck with 7 Top Model contestants out of the 9 Finalists attending and a live performance by Alloy Band and an Inhouse DJ Vivek.

Dr. Madhu Chopra is also seen in a special episode of India’s Next Top Model, to mentor the contestants and motivate them for the grand finale. The contestants have been away from their family and have been homesick. Madhu Chopra who has been a backbone for her daughter and Miss World Priyanka Chopra, gave the contestants some much needed moral support.

The Top Model finalists that attended the party were seen enjoying themselves, with a great crowd, live music, food and ambience. The contestants on the show are from different parts of the country and many of them were visiting Pune for the first time and said they had the most amazing time.

Akash Sharma and Dr. Madhu Chopra were delighted to interact with the crowd in Pune as the contestants inch towards the finale. Model Monica Gill said that the show boosted her courage and lauded the efforts of the organisers in making it a grand success. “ The show is true reflection of judging the innate qualities of head and heart of an individual and I believe that it is an apt salute to an Indian woman and her rising aspirations ,” she added.
Model Shree Radhe Khanduja said that she was delighted at the manner in which the contest was taking place and said that it provided her greater enthusiasm, energy and courage, aimed at making her mark at the national and international level.
