Indus Health Plus conducts city’s first ever healthcare Back – A – Thon on World Heart Day “Push back heart diseases”
~ 200 people participated for creating awareness
Pune, 29th September 2015: Indus Health Plus, conducted city’s first ever healthcare Back – A – Thon to mark the occasion of World Heart Day. The Back- A-Thon “Push back heart diseases” was flagged off by Mr. Amol Naikawadi, JMD and Preventive Healthcare Specialist, Indus Health Plus.
The enthusiastic crowd started the Back-A-Thon from Jangali Maharaj Mandir on J. M. Road at 8: 00 am. The walk concluded at Sambhaji Park. In one of the most compassionate examples of expressing support and solidarity towards creating awareness on heart diseases among general public in Pune, 200 people participated to support the event.
Speaking on the occasion Mr. Amol Naikawadi said, “The idea behind conducting the activity is to generate awareness about the malady of heart diseases. Backathon has been chosen with a motive to encourage people to push back the risk factors of heart disease. We intend to make noise about making a beginning for a healthy heart by investing in healthy lifestyle.”
