Infant’s Lifeless Body Found, Pune Police Launch Manhunt for Culprits
Wanowrie, 16th June 2023: In a heartbreaking incident, the lifeless body of an infant was tragically discovered near a dustbin in Salunkhe Vihar, Wanowrie, Pune. Promptly responding to the distressing discovery, the Wanowrie police have launched a thorough investigation and registered a case.
Senior Police Inspector Bhausaheb Pathare of Wanowrie Police Station expressed deep concern over the incident, stating, “Our team is actively investigating the case and remains resolute in their pursuit to apprehend and hold accountable those responsible for this heinous crime.”
According to Inspector Pathare, the police received a report about the infant’s presence on the evening of June 15. Acting swiftly, cops rushed to the location and located the infant. Immediate medical assistance was sought as the infant was swiftly transported to Sassoon Hospital. Unfortunately, doctors at the hospital confirmed the tragic demise of the young child.
