Pune: ‘I Am The Most Accessible Chief Minister Maharashtra Has Ever Seen’ – Eknath Shinde

Thergaon, 16th June 2023: Speaking at the ‘Shasan Aplya Dari’ program in Pimpri-Chinchwad, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde addressed the concerns surrounding recent advertisements and assured the public that the alliance remains strong and unaffected. He emphasized that this alliance is well-established and both his party and Devendra Fadnavis are performing effectively.
During the event, attended by MP Shrirang Barane, MLAs Mahesh Landge, Ashwini Laxman Jagtap, Uma Khapare, Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey, Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh, as well as citizens and BJP workers, Chief Minister Shinde reiterated his commitment to public service.
He declared, “I am a Chief Minister who walks among the people. Whether in Mumbai or anywhere in the state, I stop my car on the road and interact with everyone. Have you ever witnessed such a Chief Minister?”
Indirectly addressing former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, Shinde asserted, “Our government has lifted all the restrictions of the Corona era. If we were fearful, the virus would have caught up with us. We have allowed all the festivals to proceed in the state, and that is why we have been able to overcome the pandemic.”
Highlighting his dedication to the people, Shinde expressed, “I have no ego. I am a grassroots worker. My only objective, along with the government, is to make decisions in the best interest of the people. This government belongs to the farmers, and we have made decisions that prioritize their welfare.”
He reiterated that the government delivers on its promises, stating, “We are not a fake government. We do what we say.”
Chief Minister Shinde proudly proclaimed his hands-on approach to governance, stating, “I am a Chief Minister who walks the streets. In Mumbai, I personally inspect the cleanliness of drains. Whenever I stop my car in any part of the state, I meet the people on the roadside.”
He challenged the audience, asking if they had ever witnessed such accessibility from a Chief Minister before.
