Inter-School Athletics in Pune: Amolika Acharya Bags Two Titles at TRAC-76
Pune, 27th January 2026: Amolika Acharya of The Kalyani School hogged the limelight on the opening day of The Reunion Athletics Championship (TRAC-76) Inter School Athletics Sports meet at the Loyola High School, Pashan athletic track on Tuesday.
The meet is being organized by the Class of 76 and the Ex Loyola Alumni Network (ELAN).
On the opening day where eleven finals were decided, Amolika bagged two events, the 100m and triple jump, in the Girls, Under-19 section.
First, Amolika bagged the 100m sprint clocking 15.50s. Amolika outpaced her teammate and school mate Karish Kakkat who also clocked 15.50s to finish second. The third place was claimed by Shruthi Panchwagh of Loyola High School who had 15.59s to her name.
Later, Amolika returned to the track to claim the triple jump title in the same section. Amolika had a leap of 9.05 meters which was better than her school mate Naisha, who logged an effort of 8.98 meters.
In the corresponding Boys Under-19 100 meters, Surajit Kotwal of St. Vincent’s H.S, Camp; 11.71s claimed the top spot followed by Anush Devkar of host’s Loyola High School who had a 12.29s effort and followed by Vishwajeet Munde also from Loyola High School who logged a 13.16s effort.
Of the eleven events completed on the day, St. Vincent’s High School claimed four top places, next up was MES Bal Shikshan Mandir who won three titles followed by The Kalyani School with two and St Anne’s High School and Aryans School with one top spot each.
