New Delhi, 28th April 2025: Apple’s latest iPhone models, including the iPhone 16 Pro, iPhone 16, and iPhone 15, are currently available at significant discounts on Amazon and Flipkart ahead of their upcoming sales starting 1st May. The price cuts, ranging between ₹4,000 and ₹18,510 across models, aim to attract buyers before the official sale period begins.

The iPhone 15 is listed at ₹61,390 on Amazon, down from its launch price of ₹69,900, offering a flat discount of ₹8,510. ICICI Bank credit card users can avail an additional cashback of ₹1,841. Meanwhile, Flipkart has reduced the iPhone 16 Pro’s price from ₹1,19,900 to ₹1,12,900 (₹7,000 off), with Axis Bank credit cardholders eligible for an extra ₹7,545 discount on the 128GB variant. The base iPhone 16 is available at ₹68,780 (listed price: ₹74,900) with bank offers, including ₹6,120 off for Axis Bank users.

Both platforms are rolling out early discounts to capitalize on demand before their Great Summer Sales. “These pre-sale offers help us gauge customer interest and manage inventory,” said an unnamed e-commerce executive familiar with the strategy. The discounts are not part of the official sale, and their duration remains unspecified.

Tech enthusiasts like Rohan Mehra, a Delhi-based software engineer, expressed enthusiasm: “I’ve been tracking the iPhone 16 Pro for months. A ₹14,545 total discount with bank offers makes this the best time to upgrade.” Industry analysts note that Apple’s aggressive pricing aims to counter competition from Android flagship launches scheduled for mid-2025.

The iPhone 16 Pro features an upgraded camera system with a dedicated control button, while the iPhone 15 retains its A16 Bionic chipset. Apple’s website continues to list the iPhone 15 at ₹69,900, making third-party platforms the preferred choice for discounts.

Amazon and Flipkart have not officially commented on the pre-sale discounts. However, their promotional banners confirm the price drops as “limited-period offers.” Customers are advised to check bank-specific terms, as cashback amounts vary.
