Ira Khan’s Honeymoon Bliss: Tattoos, Career Choices, Mental Health
29th January 2024: Ira Khan, one of B-Town’s most talked-about star kids, consistently captures headlines due to her parentage as the daughter of actor Aamir Khan and his first ex-wife Reena Dutta. Recently, Ira has been in the spotlight for her marriage to long-time boyfriend and fitness trainer Nupur Shikhare. The two, who dated for two years and share a professional fitness connection, are currently reveling in their honeymoon in Bali after a registered and white wedding.
During their romantic Bali getaway, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare decided to commemorate the beautiful moments with tattoos. The newlyweds opted for matching tortoise tattoos on their bodies. Ira chose to have two turtles inked on her collarbone, while Nupur showcased her tattoo on her arms. Sharing a glimpse of their inked memories, Nupur wrote, “Bringing some islands with me” in a heartfelt Instagram post alongside a photo featuring the couple.
Diverging from the path of acting like her father Aamir, Ira pursued a career in direction. After serving as an assistant director, she made her directorial debut in 2019 with Euripides’ Medea, casting her brother Junaid Khan and Hazel Keech in lead roles. Currently, Ira Khan holds the position of the founder and CEO of the Agatsu Foundation, a mental health support group.
Noteworthy is Ira’s openness about her own mental health struggles, having faced depression. She consistently advocates for mental health awareness, utilizing her platform to share her experiences and encourage others to prioritize their mental well-being.
