Jayant Patil And Fadnavis Deny Reports Of Meeting With Amit Shah At Pune Hotel

Pune 6th August 2023 : Amid talks about Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Jayant Patil’s meeting with Amit Shah in Pune today, senior BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis clarified that there was no meeting between the two leaders. Fadnavis called it rumour and said people like to spread such rumours.

Earlier today, Jayant Patil also denied meeting Shah in Pune and said that he was with NCP chief Sharad Pawar in the morning. Patil said that he did not meet any senior leader of BJP as claimed in several reports.

It may be noted that several sources reported about NCP leader of Sharad Pawar faction meeting with Amit Shah at JW Marriott Hotel in Pune today while claiming that he will soon join Ajit Pawar faction.
