JEE Main 2022: Mathematics confused on first day of JEE Main

Patna, 24th June 2022: JEE Main exam started on Thursday. On the first day, there was paper 2 A for BArch and Paper 2 B planning.JEE Main B.Arch and B.Planning papers were conducted in two slots. The attendance of students on the first day was around 80 per cent.

The examination was of 400 marks, 25 questions were asked in Mathematics, two questions in Drawing and 50 questions were asked in Aptitude Test. Students said that in B.Arch and B.Planning, maths questions were a bit difficult. The students got a little troubled in this. Whereas the questions of drawing and aptitude were easy.

RFS Director Raj Chitrak told that the level of questions was fine. Students who did well in Mathematics, Aptitude and Drawing will get the result. The first shift was from 9 to 12 in the morning and from 3 to 6 in the afternoon. The exam will continue till June 29. 

The exam is being conducted in CBT mode. There will be an examination for enrollment in NIT from Friday. Centres for the examination have been set up in 35 cities including Patna. More than 70 thousand candidates are appearing from Bihar. The exam is to be conducted online mode in 22 foreign cities with 501 cities across the country.

Students who returned from a centre in Ranchi, Jharkhand, after giving an exam, said that overall the question paper was fine. But the maths questions were quite confusing. The students who do not have command over mathematics will be stuck. At the same time, some students said that the questions were fine. A student returning after giving the exam said on the condition of anonymity that all other subjects were fine, but the maths questions remained unsolved, there were a lot of problems in solving them. Although overall the paper has gone well. Another student named Abhimanyu Kumar told that except for maths the rest was fine. Due to negative marking, you had to answer with a lot of understanding.
