JEE Main Session 2 Exam Dates Announced by NTA

New Delhi, 11th March 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the exam schedule for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Session 2, which will take place from April 2 to April 9, 2025.

This session is crucial for aspiring engineering students looking to secure admission in various undergraduate programs across India. The JEE Main is a key gateway for candidates seeking enrollment in prestigious engineering colleges.

According to the NTA announcement, Paper 1 (for B.E./B.Tech) will be conducted over five days—April 2, 3, 4, 7, and 8—in two shifts daily. The first shift will run from 9 AM to 12 Noon, while the second shift will take place from 3 PM to 6 PM. Additionally, Paper 2A (for B.Arch) and Paper 2B (for B.Planning) will be held on April 9, from 9 AM to 12:30 PM.

Candidates can expect the city intimation slip to be released in the second week of March, while the admit card will be available for download three days before the exam date. This allows students ample time to prepare and ensure they have all necessary documentation ready for their examination day.

NTA officials emphasized that this examination is being conducted at various centers across India as well as in 15 international cities, thus providing a wide reach for candidates. The exam aims to assess the knowledge and skills of students in subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
