K2S 2025: Pune Hosts Thrilling 21km Monsoon Adventure Run from Katraj to Sinhagad Fort
Pune, 28th July 2025: The Lyfefit Arena’s K2S – Katraj to Sinhagad Monsoon Adventure Race was successfully held on Saturday, bringing together runners from across Maharashtra. The race was flagged off near the Old Katraj Ghat Tunnel at around 7 AM and concluded with a prize distribution ceremony held at 12:30 PM at the Patanjali Atmabodh Wellness Centre in Donaje, near Khadakwasla. The race officially ended at 2:00 pm after 7 hours of cut-off time.
The event featured multiple categories, all covering a challenging 21 km stretch through hilly monsoon terrain. In the 18 to 35 age group, Nikhil Sahani secured first place in the male category, followed by Nilesh Kulaye as runner-up and Karan Bhoye in third place. In the female category of the same age group, Rutuja Malvadkar finished first, with Snehal Yogita and Arpita Kute coming in second and third respectively.
In the 36 to 45 age category, Yogesh Sanap emerged victorious among the men, with Vishal Gokhe as runner-up and Kashinath Katare taking third place. For the women, Almas Mulani claimed first position, followed by Sreema Baliga and Maya Pandey.
Among participants aged 46 and above, Siddhesh Menkudale secured the top spot in the male category, followed by Krishna Pauls and Khandu Bachute. In the female category, Renu Sidhu finished first, with Deepa Mithbaokar and Neha Joglekar taking second and third places.
Participants of all age groups and genders took part in the race, with a minimum of 50 runners in each category. The event was marked by high enthusiasm and team spirit. While many focused on completing the race rather than winning, there was great appreciation for the winners.
Mahendra Lokare, founder of Team Lyfefit Arena, expressed satisfaction with the successful execution of the event. “It was good to organise this race. We have organised it for the second time. Congratulations to all winners and to everyone who participated and finished. It was a challenging race. I thank all our partners, including our digital partners Punekar News, for supporting us,” he said.
