Katraj: New 80 Beds Covid Care Center Set Up In Five Days

Pune, 16th April 2021: Considering the current situation of the Covid-19 virus spread in the city, a new Covid Center has been set up in front of Gandharva Lawns, next to Chowgule Workshop on Pune-Satara Road in the Katraj area. It was inaugurated on Thursday (15th April) by Mayor Murlidhar Mohol. The Covid Center has been set up with 40 oxygen and 40 quarantine beds.

The centre has been established by Sai Sneh Hospital’s Dr Sunil Jagtap and his colleagues with the help of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) corporator Vasant More.

“In the fight against Covid-19, we are all together, and you will see from the presence of all party leaders on the platform that nothing will be missing for this centre,” said Mayor Mohol.

Corporator More said, “We demand to improve the supply of Remdesivir injection and increase the number of oxygen beds.”

Leader of Opposition in Municipal Corporation Deepali Dhumal, Assistant Commissioner of Police Sushma Chavan, Senior Police Inspector Jagannath Kalaskar, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena party leaders Mangesh Raskar, Anand Agarwal, Sandeep Dagde, Amarjit Singh Rajpal, Adv. Bharat Kadam, Tekavale Kaka were also present on the occasion.
