Khadki: 10 New COVID Cases Reported Today
Pune, 21 August 2020: With 10 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) cases today, the total tally of positive patients reached 1018 in the Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) area. Out of 1018, a total of 770 people have recovered while 28 have died.
According to KCB, there are still 220 active patients undergoing treatment. 27 of them are admitted to Khadki Cantonment Hospital, while others are admitted in different private hospitals in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. 36 patients in home isolation.
Out of 220 active cases, a total of 138 cases are admitted in Command Hospital and Military Hospital-CTC. In the last few days, there has been a considerable rise in COVID cases among defence personnel in Khadki Cantonment area.
According to KCB officials, after a positive case is detected, the house/locality is declared as containment zone in civil area. However, the Army takes preventive measures in establishments under its control.
