Khadki: 16 new COVID cases reported yesterday, 29 discharged

Khadki, 10 Aug, 2020: With 16 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) cases yesterday, the total tally of positive patients reached 798 in the Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) area. Out of 798, a total of 566 people have been cured while 26 have died.

According to KCB, there are still 206 active patients undergoing treatment. 63 of them are admitted to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Cantonment General Hospital in Khadki, while others are admitted in different hospitals in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. There are 193 people under home quarantine while 1818 have completed the quarantine period.

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 29,157 out of which 20,264 have recovered while 485 have died. 4871 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 386 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC hospitals, while 116 have died and 1183 have been cured.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 65,966 out of which 48,614 have been cured while 1540 have died in Pune city. There are still 15,812 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 726 critical patients out of which 448 are on ventilator support.

Across Maharashtra, 13,348 people got discharged from hospitals while 12,248 new cases and 390 deaths were reported yesterday . The total number of COVID cases has reached 5,15,332 out of which 3,51,710 people have recovered and 17,757 have died.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 21,53,010 across the country. Out of this, 14,80,884 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 43,379 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 6,28,747 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
