Khadki: 23 new COVID cases reported today, 23 discharged

Khadki, 15 Aug, 2020: With 23 new Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) cases today, the total tally of positive patients reached 947 in the Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) area. Out of 947, a total of 664 people have been cured while 28 have died.

According to KCB, there are still 255 active patients undergoing treatment. 55 of them are admitted to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Cantonment General Hospital in Khadki, while others are admitted in different hospitals in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad.  Out of 255 active cases, a total of 137 cases are admitted from army area. There are 247 people under home quarantine while 1983 have completed the quarantine period.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 72,576 out of which 56,245 have been cured while 1710 have died. There are still 14,621 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 760 critical patients out of which 466 are on ventilator support.

 

Across Maharashtra, 6,844 people got discharged from hospitals while 12,614 new cases and 322 deaths were reported today. The total number of COVID cases has reached 5,84,754 out of which 4,08,286 people have recovered and 19,749 have died. There are 1,56,409 active cases.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 2,526,192 across the country. Out of this, 1,808,936 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 49,036 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 668,220 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
