Khadki: Cantonment Organizes Webinar For Sanitation Workers’ Hygiene During COVID pandemic

Khadki, September 5, 2020: A webinar was organised yesterday for the sanitation workers (safaikarmi) of the Khadki Cantonment Board (KCB) on health and hygiene during Coronavirus disease (COVID19) pandemic. The programme was inaugurated by Ajay Kumar Sharma, Principle Director Defence Estates (PDDE), Southern Command through video-conferencing (VC).
KCB vice-president Duryodhan Bhapkar and other elected members also attended the programme from multiple places. About seven different locations were chosen for the VC. Safaikarmi attended with social distancing and mask, informed KCB CEO Pramod Kumar Singh.
The training panelist were SHO Sukhmeet Minhas and her team from the Army. KCB resident medical officer was another panelist and the sanitary superintendent was deputed for a question-answer session.
“Every elected member gave best wishes to safaikarmi to boost their morale. Vitamin C tablet, pulse oximeter and thermal scanner will be separately provided to safaikarmi”, Singh informed.
